Why did you choose the GPP?
The trainee program offers me the opportunity to get to know the different divisions of Greiner and at the same time to prove and develop my skills and strengths in various projects.
What do you like best about the GPP?
The development of a cross-divisional network as well as the chance to gain insight into areas of responsibility that do not correspond to my original training.
My highlight is that as a trainee you work as part of four different teams on a variety of tasks within 18 months – which offers a great development opportunity, but at the same time requires flexibility & adaptability.
Who would you recommend the GPP to?
I recommend the GPP to all graduates who aspire to a professional career in an international industrial environment and are willing to look beyond their own area of interest. The starting point for this can be technical, economic as well as interdisciplinary courses of study. It is important that you personally have flexibility, motivation and the ability to work in a team – in this case, GPP is the right place for you.
It was already clear to me during my studies that I wanted to work in an international company. Since I wasn’t sure about my career direction, I decided to join the Greiner trainee program, which gave me insights into different departments and divisions within Greiner.
Looking back, what was your highlight in the GPP?
My highlight during the traineeship was the internationality during the 1.5 years. I got to spend two stints abroad (Switzerland for 4 months and Germany for 2.5 months) and be part of two missions in the US and Poland.

Why did you choose the GPP?
After graduation, the trainee program was exactly the right choice to get me started in my professional life. In addition, I have always been very interested in IT systems and digitalization.
What do you like best about the GPP?
The GPP offers the opportunity to accompany a wide variety of projects and thereby find one’s own strengths and interests. In addition, the program makes it possible to get to know the different divisions of Greiner and thus to work together with a wide range of colleagues and departments.

Why did you choose the GPP?
After completing my master’s degree, I was keen to gain professional experience in the field of digitization. The GPP turned out to be very attractive in the course of my job search, with the opportunity to gain insights into various digital areas of the Greiner Group of Companies.
Looking back, what was your highlight in the GPP?
The stations in the different divisions. So today I have good contacts in all sectors.
To whom would you recommend the GPP?
All those who, after completing their studies, want to take advantage of the opportunity to gain their first professional experience in an international group and also to make a career there. For me, the GPP gave me the great opportunity to become manager for digital transformation at Greiner Bio-One.

I was fascinated by the concept and the process of the trainee program. The different focus of the stations and working on my own projects in different areas and divisions allows me to find out what suits me best.

A special aspect for me is that I am regarded by my colleagues as a full team member who makes a valuable contribution to the team. I work on current projects, make important contacts across divisions, and gain knowledge and skills that will help me succeed at Greiner in the future.
To whom would you recommend the GPP?
All those who are interested in the field of information security – regardless of whether they are newcomers directly after school or university or interested parties with existing experience. You can get a taste of different areas and discover your interests and strengths. The Trainee Program is a unique experience that caters to each individual’s unique interests and strengths.
Why did you choose the GPP?
On the one hand, Greiner is widely known as an outstanding employer that develops extremely valuable products for society and offers them on the market. Also, at the time, I was still unsure of what career direction I wanted to go in. All I knew was that I had a great interest in digitization and IT. The program provided me with the perfect opportunity to develop myself in this area and build my skills.
Looking back, what was your highlight in the GPP?
The first highlight was a station where I took an in-depth look at augmented reality (AR) in the production area. The task was to develop training for new production employees using AR glasses. It was fascinating to explore the possibilities of AR technology and how it can streamline training processes.
The second project I remember most was for an Information Security Power BI report, where I worked in the IT department. The challenge was to generate a clear report for management from various sources in order to continuously review and optimize key figures in the area of information security.
To whom would you recommend the GPP?
I can recommend the trainee program at Greiner to anyone who wants to develop their skills in IT and digitization while gaining a broad understanding of the different areas of a successful company.

Why did you choose the GPP?
After several years on the user side in sales, I wanted to expand my know-how. The GPP offers me the opportunity to deepen my expertise with SAP and to develop further in this area.
