How does the application process work?
You submit your application documents on our job portal https://jobs.greiner.com. If your profile matches the advertisement, you will be invited to a personal interview, which will usually be conducted via MS Teams or, if applicable, via the Internet. takes place in person at our location in Kremsmünster.
In GPP – International Business, the second selection step is a hearing that takes place in person at the Kremsmünster site. You have to allow just under two hours for this. HR representatives and managers from the Greiner divisions as well as program management will be present. For this you will have to prepare a task and you will be given a question to work on in the hearing itself. You can also ask specific questions and get a clearer picture of the possible work stations in the program and insights into the working world at Greiner.
The GPP – Information Security, GPP – Digitization & IT and GPP – ERP sees a second meeting with HR, program management and other executives from Greiner AG IT after the successful initial meeting. In the course of this meeting, open questions from the initial meeting, the general conditions and further details are clarified. You will also discuss an open assignment with program management. However, it is not necessarily about you solving the task technically correctly. Your “common sense” and approach to the task is usually much more important.
What are the requirements for the application?
For the GPP – International Business you need a completed degree (Bachelor or Master) or you should be about to complete your studies at the start of the program.
For the branches GPP – Information Security, GPP – Digitization & IT and GPP – ERP Operations & Technology your formal education and qualification is more secondary. To participate in the GPP – ERP Logistics a/o Production branch, you should have appropriate prior knowledge in this area.
How long can I apply for the Greiner Professional Program?
Basically, the motto is: “The faster, the better!”
The application period starts in February/March each year. For the GPP – International Business you can apply until mid-May.
You can usually apply for the GPP – Information Security, GPP – Digitization & IT and GPP – ERP branches starting in April. The application is then usually possible until the end of August.

Can I also apply with initial work experience, whether external or existing Greiner employees?
The GPP – International Business is aimed at young professionals with initial work experience, whether external or existing employees.
The branches GPP – Information Security, GPP – Digitization & IT and GPP – ERP are additionally targeted at internal and external career changers with professional experience who have a high passion for IT and – ideally – have already worked in the IT environment or other relevant specialist areas.
